We use a gentle approach to help children (ages 0-5 years) develop healthy sleep habits that lead to sleeping throughout the night. Our customized sleep plans are personalized to suit your family's schedule and modified based on your baby's unique personality.  

Healthy Sleep Habits From The Start: From 0-12 week olds

The newborn stage is an amazing time to set the foundation for good sleep for your child. During the first few months of life, there are many opportunities for parents to encourage healthy sleep habits from the start. These habits are essential for parents and children to get adequate sleep in the coming months. Due to newborn sleep cycles being sporadic for the first few, everything we discussed will encourage flexibility. There will be no sleep training or strict scheduling for this age range!  

During our time together, we will discuss your family's goals, what healthy sleep habits are, how to create those habits, safe sleep/SIDS, developmentally appropriate expectations, swaddling, setting up the sleep environment, and much more. This initial kick-off call will help you understand your baby better, maximize sleep, and adjust to life with a newborn. 

Infant and Toddler Sleep Consulting/Training Support

For children 4 months-5 years of age, we will work on a more comprehensive sleep plan of action. During the kick-off call, we will educate you on age appropriate sleep goals and expectations, sleep associations, restorative sleep, and sleep patterns. We will discuss tips, tricks, and techniques for better quality sleep, consistent naps, independent sleep, and more. Not to worry, if you have multiples, this is still the service for you. We are trained and experienced with twins, triplets, and higher order multiples. After the questionnaire, we will have an initial consultation that will help to break down your needs even more. We will ensure a plan that helps your family reach their ultimate goal of getting your child to sleep through the night and to have more quality, restorative sleep. 

What’s the process of hiring a pediatric sleep consultant?

  1. Book your free Discovery call: The goal of the call is to understand the challenges you are having with your child's sleep and what your goals are. We will provide a recommendation about which package or offering we feel would be the best for you and your family.

  2. Choose a Sleep Package: We have a selection of curated virtual and in-person packages to choose from.

  3. Complete your Sleep Intake Form: Completing this online form will give us a full understanding of your child's history, routines, and personality.

  4. Schedule a kick-off call: The kick-off call is the official day that we start working together! On this call, we will spend time reviewing your intake and ask any further questions about the child's history and challenges. We will also have your curated Sleep Plan prepared and will share the next steps.

  5. We begin!

Your Pediatric Sleep Consultant will also provide:

  • Information on the basics of sleep

  • Infant sleeping and feeding patterns

  • Safe sleep techniques

  • Creating a sleep-friendly environment

  • Creating bedtime and nap time routines

  • Age-appropriate goals and expectations during the first few months

What is a sleep plan?

A Sleep Plan includes a detailed analysis of your child's sleep challenges, an overview of how much sleep your baby needs at their age, a proposed age appropriate sleep schedule and sleep training methods to review and choose from.
