It brings joy to me to provide such quality care to newborns that allow new mothers peace that they can care for themselves while I am in the care of their new baby.

RECENT WORK EXPERIENCE

EP Family - Daytime Newborn Care (Twins)

During this time I assisted a busy family as they transitioned from a family of five to a family of seven, during the day for a few hours. While dad worked, mom was able to get things done such as going to the gym, showering, running errands, and caring for her 3 older ones. I cared for the twins. Provided bottle feedings with powder formula using proper storage, measurements, and sterilization once it was time to clean bottles. Each child got burped at the appropriate time followed by staying upright for at least fifteen minutes after each feeding. Both children stayed on the same feeding and nap schedule. During nap time, the nursery got tidied up, laundry got folded and put away, diapers and wipes got restocked. During awake time and after feedings and proper diapering, the children got to enjoy developmentally appropriate play time including supervised tummy time. At the end of each shift I made sure everything was neatly logged and written down for mom and dad to view what took place while I was there.

HR Family - Daytime Newborn Care and some Postpartum Care (Twins)

I assisted a family as they transitioned from a family of three to a family of five. Provided breastfeeding resources to mom who planned on breastfeeding, and pumping during the day and chose Ready to Feed formula bottles at night. Pumping allowed mom to rest and take naps during the day while I used the pumped milk for feedings during the day. While working with twin boys proper circumcision care was taken place each diaper change. Bottles, and pump parts were all properly wash and sterilized after each use. While twins napped, all duties were taken care of which included, washing and sterilizing bottles, pump parts, pacifiers, washing and folding both newborn and families laundry (postpartum duty), changing bedding, restocking the nursery, getting the night time station ready with bottles, nipples, pacifiers, burp clothes, extra outfit, diapers, bottle water for mom or dad, tissues, chapstick, and all the essentials needed for a successful night. During awake time, feedings, diaper changes, proper play time and bathing took place. At the end of each shift I made sure everything was neatly logged and written down for mom and dad to view what took place while I was there.

Client love notes

“I have very high anxiety and never left my children. I hired Talia to care for my son as an infant and was so anxious to leave him with anyone. Upon having my second son, she started with him as a newborn. She was the ONLY person, aside from my mother, that I felt comfortable leaving my children with. My newborn had a health issue - She knew what was wrong with him before I did. She knew and appropriately referred me to his pediatrician. She would provide developmentally appropriate practices, she was responsible and attentive. It’s the little things; she never skipped a beat. I was originally a teacher, very type A and particular, I knew I needed someone who knew what they were doing. As a new mom, Talia made things seamless and takes care of my children the way I would. At certain times, Talia knew more about caring for children than I did, because of her extensive experience. Anyone who works with Talia is very lucky.” - Nicole
