CERTIFIED POSTPARTUM DOULA + LACTATION EDUCATOR

The thing I love the most is the peace and calmness that I see in mommy’s eyes knowing that I’m there to help her. I love feeling the sense of baby knowing he or she is being well taken care of. Newborns know by the energy you have coming through you they feel that and have ways of feeling safe & secure. I love how that makes me feel.

RECENT WORK EXPERIENCE

NL Family - Overnight newborn Care

Helped family transition home with their newborn baby girl. Brought infant into mom through out the night to be nursed. Helped mom to relax by ensuring her baby was safe.

Ss Family - Overnight newborn Care

Helped mom with getting baby to latch on to be nursed. Changed, burped and nurtured baby throughout the night.

After deciding to not continue nursing, I provided the proper education for formula and bottle feeding safety. Tasks included bottle preparation, nursery organization, showing various swaddling techniques, providing recommendations for the following; parent groups, music and story times, pediatricians, daycares, and nannies. Additional tasks for household also were partaking in local errands, cooking and baking. Mother and father worked from home so I was solely tending to baby S during those hours where they were occupied with meetings. Sdeveloped an eczema rash which was worrisome to parents. I provided a listening ear and ensured them to contact their pediatrician and carry on with the care instructions that were given. Rash went away in due time.

MK Family - Daytime Doula Care

Helped family get settled in comfortably. I made it as smooth as possible for this family to transition from a family of 3 to now a family of 4

BJ Family - Overnight Doula Care

For this family I provided 24hrs care for 2 weeks and I also traveled out of state with them and I was caring for infants most of the day and night I absolutely loved it. Mom, had to have an unfortunate surgery so they hired me to care for their newborn for 3 months.
