RECENT CASES

AA Family -

Provided a calm and compassionate daytime and some overnight care for a family of 3 who just got home from a 2.5 month NICU stay. Assisted mom and dad with transitioning from life in the hospital to life at home! Provided special care for both mom and baby. Baby was born at 27 weeks due to complications with pregnancy. Worked with mom to help BF after exclusively pumping. Helped wash/ sterilize pump parts, bottles and dishes. Helped ease the stress of the transition from bottle/syringe feeding to BF. Worked with mom to help her feel comfortable and safe while she was also still healing. Baby suffered from Reflux which required medication and extra needs such as holding up right 30 minutes after feed and feeding in a mostly upright position. Helped mom and dad feel reassured that their baby was safe and comfortable while they got the rest they needed! Baby was not able to get circumcised in hospital- had to wait till had the appropriate weight gain and vaccinations. Helped mom and dad transition diaper changes with circumcision care. Celebrated all of baby and mom’s new success every day. Big and small!
