Allison
Certified Postpartum & Infant Care Doula, Lactation Counselor
“When I’m not rocking your precious baby to sleep, you can find me at trivia night with my husband, an NWSL game, or spending time adventuring with my family!”
a brief bio
Allison is a San Diego native who now calls Rhode Island home, thanks to her Navy career. She is a proud parent of three children: Zech (14), Pippa (3), and Casper (3 months).
With over 18 years of experience as a nanny, she has supported families through every stage of early childhood. As she became a mother herself and listened to friends share how overwhelming the early weeks with a newborn can feel, she felt a strong calling to support parents in a more intentional and meaningful way. This led her to earn her certification as a Postpartum Doula.
She is deeply committed to helping new parents feel confident, supported, and cared for during the tender postpartum period. Through hands-on newborn care, emotional reassurance, and guidance as families adjust to life with a new addition, her goal is to make the transition smoother, calmer, and more empowering for every family she serves!
My favorite part about doing this amazing work with newborns and families:
First and foremost, the snuggles! Helping new parents get the rest they need, and helping with all the feeding/newborn care they need to ease the transition of a new baby!
